TACS School reports Manager was written to help school teachers with their end of term reports.

Teachers are able to set up details of all of the children for whom they must write a report with details such as their class or form, subject and so on.  They can also create a series of standard comments which can be called up as required when creating a school report.  These comments are selected from a list of predefined topics that the teacher can create.  Once selected the topic button is greyed out so that it cannot be used again for a single report so there’s no risk of repeating yourself.

When selecting comments the staff can personalise them with a prefix (if desired) of the child’s name or ‘his’ or ‘her’, ‘he’ or ‘she’.  The comments are then written into the preview window for the report.  At that point they can still be edited if needed.

Each report can then be printed out for inclusion in the schools system by administration staff.

This TACS software has been priced so that it is affordable by just about everyone.  It will save teachers hours of handwriting or typing up reports.  For those of you who already have standard phrases that you cut and paste into a document in a word processor, just think how much simpler this can be.
